O Dia Mundial da Terra, como sabemos, é celebrado há 54 anos no dia 22 de Abril. O Presidente Biden instituiu oficialmente este dia, 22 de Abril como Dia da Terra.
Pretende-se alertar o mundo para a importância e a necessidade de conservação dos recursos naturais do nosso planeta Terra. Este dia é celebrado em mais de 190 países, com a participação de muitos milhões de pessoas.

Thousands of people worldwide organise campaigns and make commitments to improve the planet's health in more than 190 countries.
Earth Day is unwavering in the commitment to end plastics for the sake of human and planetary health, demanding a 60% reduction in the production of ALL plastics by 2040.

We learned Environment Education since 2007 at school with our teacher Dr. GSouto and participated in Polar International Year 2007-2008 and Earth Day since 2007 into languages and Civics curricula. We were 10-11 years-old.
Now we have our Master degree, we work but we always are environmental young citizens. So we continue this blog created in 2007 every time we have a moment.
