The Daily Planet – Polar bears waiting for sea ice to freeze

CTV Daily Planet apresenta Jay Ingrim a falar com o biólogo polar Geoff York da organização WWF Global Arctic Programme nas margens de Hudson Bay  no Canadá. Geoff  esteve em Cape Churchill com os nossos colaboradores da Polar Bears International na Tundra Buggy Lodge em Wapusk National Park esperando com os ursos polares que o oceano gele completamente. 

Geoff explica a Jay por que razão os ursos polares frequentam Cape Churchill na costa oeste de Hudson Bay. Tirando vantagem da tecnologia  de transmissão PiB's Buggy One, BJ Kirschhoffer faz um fantástico trabalho facilitando a discussão; com audio de qualidade e vídeo de grande nitidez,  um vídeo transmitido da tundra gelada.

Geoff was at Cape Churchill with our partners Polar Bears International on the Tundra Buggy Lodge in Wapusk National Park waiting with the polar bears there for the sea ice to freeze. 

Geoff brings Jay up to speed as to why polar bears frequent Cape Churchill on the west coast of Hudson Bay.
